New Playbook Game first to feature Scoreloop integration?!

Being the insomniac that I am, at 3:30 AM while perusing YouTube, I stumbled across a trailer for a new Playbook game entitled 'Dummy Jake, and the great fall.' The game is created with the NDK and looks pretty fun, but the most interesting thing is the fact that it is the first game (that I am aware of) to have Scoreloop integration. I know RIM acquired Scoreloop back in June, but we have not seen anything utilizing Scoreloop until now. Anyway, it's late, but I thought this deserved a post. Hit the break for video.

UPDATE (from BerryReview): According to RIM the: “transition to a backup switch did not function as tested, causing a large backlog of data… RIM said it is now working to clear the backlog and restore normal service as soon as possible.” --------------------------- Update…

BIS still experiencing issues across EMEA

As we reported yesterday, BIS services were partially restored to the EMEA region, and repairs were ongoing to fully restore the service. Apparently, RIM is experiencing further difficulty in their efforts to get the service back up and running at full capacity. According to BerryReview: Now we are hearing multiple confirmed reports that it went down again sometime between 7-8AM EST this morning for EMEA users and is still down. I am hearing that an ETA for a fix is still 2-4 hours away so hopefully they stomp this bug fast. According to the Telegraph this outage happened in RIM’s…
